Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture: ！ "Kugano Hinasama Exhibition" with approximately 2,000 hina dolls is currently being held.

In the Hida region, where spring comes late, there is a custom to celebrate the Hina Festival on April 3, a month later than usual.

The Hisano Community Center in Hisano Town, Takayama City, located about 20 minutes by car from the city center, is holding the 16th "Hisano Hinasama Exhibition" until April 3, 2025 （ Thursday ）. Admission is free and open to the public every day during the exhibition period except Mondays, when the museum is closed.

More than 2,000 hina dolls have been collected through donations from ordinary families ！ In the first floor hall, there is a huge 14-tier Hina-dan in the front, and also on both sides are many other hina dolls such as the Mayubina of Ichinomiya-cho and the oddly-shaped Dohina. and many other Hina dolls are lined up on both sides.

According to Mr. Jinichiro Mizobata, chairman of NPO Furusato, which manages the community center, there are offers to donate hina dolls every year, and the number continues to increase every year, now exceeding about 2,000 dolls. He says that although it is a lot of work to display this many hina dolls, he is happy that citizens and tourists who come from afar to see the dolls through the Internet are happy to see them. Visitors who see so many hina dolls are said to be amazed, saying, "It's breathtaking ！" and "I wonder how they are going to display them and put them away.

In addition to this, the "27th Hida Takayama Hina Festival" is currently being held at tourist facilities and lodging facilities in Takayama City. There is also a stamp rally where you can get a Sarubobo, so please enjoy the Hida Takayama Hina Festival one month later than usual.

About the Kugano area

The Kugano area is located on the south side of Takayama City, on the Pacific side of the watershed, at the foot of Mt.
